Vesper goes 002, includes workarounds for 7

Vesper goes 002, plays nicer with 7

Vesper, the thought collection list/note hybrid app for iPhone by Brent Simmons, Dave Wiskus, and John Gruber, has addressed some bug fixes and employed some workarounds to better support developers using it on iOS 7 in an update called 1.002. (Clever, very clever.) Gruber, on the Vesper blog:

We don’t officially support running Vesper on beta releases of iOS, including — or perhaps even especially — iOS 7. (Developers aren’t even allowed to submit apps to the App Store built using the iOS 7 SDK, because the SDK is still in beta as well.) But we know a lot of our users are testing iOS 7, so we’ve worked around a few text editing bugs specific to iOS 7. This should allow Vesper to be usable, albeit typographically compromised (note titles lose their boldness during editing) while running on system 7.

If you're already using Vesper on iOS 7, well, chances are you've already been auto-updated. If not, go grab the update from the App Store. If you haven't tried it yet, check out our review, our podcast with the guys behind it, and if you like what you see and hear, go get it!
