Infinity Blade: Dungeons was supposed to be a showpiece for the iPad, initially announced way back at the iPad 3 launch event, and now it seems we shall never get to play it. The title was put on hold indefinitely when developer Impossible Studios closed down, but the publisher Epic Games has now confirmed the project is cancelled.
Dungeons was lined up as a hack-and-slash spin-off title to the massively successful Infinity Blade series, but for well over a year now we've been waiting, and waiting, and waiting. At least we don't have to wait anymore. The slightly more positive news is that it doesn't necessarily mean the end of the Infinity Blade series, but no doubts like us, there'll be a few of you out there that will be disappointed about this one?
